NEUE ROAD MOVIES was founded by Wim Wenders in 2008 as an independent production company. Its name refers to the now defunct Road Movies that operated with great international success for more than 25 years.
Our aim is to work with distinctive filmmakers and discover unique stories.
We focus on international co-productions with crossover potential.
The producers in the company are Wim Wenders, Gian-Piero Ringel and
Erwin M. Schmidt, supported by the team of Martina Hedwig, Francesca Hecht, Stefanie Röders and our trainee Viktoria Gläser.
